A GRAPHIC DESIGNER
Having left school at the tender age of 16, I sought out to keep my mind going and hit the ground running with study. Not wasting any time I enrolled in a computing course and that's where it all began. Spending the next 3 years studying Graphic design, I truly found where my passion was although it was long before my career in design really took off.
WORK EXPERIENCE
Fresh out of design school, I took a job as a 3D modeler for a company that designed shower chairs for the disabled. As my first out of school job, this role taught me lots about working to client deadlines. After leaving this job it would be quite a few years before I got back into being a designer. I had a few customer service related jobs where I learnt a lot about managing a team. After moving to Tauranga in 2014 I spent 3 years as a graphic designer and marketing manager for various companies while also free lancing as a photographer.
EDUCATION
Fresh out of school I wasted no time up skilling myself. Enrolling in various courses and classes. I have spent one year studying Computing, two years studying graphic design and one year in 3D animation. Quick thinking and not one to hold back, I have no problem learning things on the fly.
SKILLS
My skill set is very broad, ranging from editing skills among the adobe suite, photography and videography experience as a freelancer, building websites and working with social media, getting media ready for print like vehicles and signs.
